What clients say
I received flowers by Madly & Love Blooms as a Valentines Day gift, and it's honestly the most beautiful bouquet I have ever gotten! From the arrangement to the vase and all the little details in between, It's truly a work of art.
Hannah did such an amazing job on a bouquet for a bridal session I shot. When the bouquet arrived to our location, the bride, the MOB, the MOH, and I were blown away with the beautiful work she did! It smelled wonderful too, thank you so much Hannah for your hard work!! Hannah is an honest, reasonable, TALENTED florist, I can't wait to work with her again!!
When I was looking for a florist I wanted to support a local small business and was lucky enough to find one in the heart of the Eastside in Historic Dignowity Hill. I had a really particular look I was going for but didn’t really have specific flowers in mind for my big day. I decided to turn to Hannah for advice in order to achieve my dream look with a limited budget. I was able to get everything I wanted in my price range and she was nice enough to give me the extra flowers to use on my wedding day. Hannah was always great at communication and available to help me in any way, from the initial placement of the order to the pick-up. The advice and expert insight was greatly appreciated and my flowers came out perfect! Thank you Madly and Love Blooms for allowing me to achieve my dream wedding look!
Hannah did an outstanding job at my sister's wedding. We didn't have much time and she went above and beyond making the flower arrangements look so beautiful. I would definitely recommend her. I know you will not be disappointed.
Having Hannah create some special floral pieces for my Girls Night Out event last month was very special. She creatively chose colors and blooms to match my logo and bring a touch of beauty to my registration table, my charity table and my special guest table. Working with Hannah was easy since she is so well versed in arrangement and choosing flowers that make people give a double look like the Protea's and succulents. I am excited to work with Hannah in the future knowing she is able to create unique arrangements that brighten people's days and bring a bit of beauty to a special event.
How I work
All great projects begin with a conversation. Initially, we set up a free consultation where we go over your vision. Some clients arrive with a clear picture of what they want, but who just need some inspired execution (I love brides with Pinterest screenshots!). Others just need my gentle guidance in translating their vision into a reality. I meet with clients as much or as little as they desire and am willing to travel to their venues. Whatever it takes, I get the job done with ease, efficiency and simplicity.
I understand that every event is special, so we design a plan that works within your budget. My goal is to ensure that my clients have amazing arrangements that will stand the test of time in photos and the hearts of their guests without breaking the bank.
Who I am
I grew up on a large farm in Missouri, and loved the hand-picked wildflowers my mother would gather each Spring for our home. Daffodils were my passion.
Later in life, I moved to New York City where I would marvel at the posh Manhattan floral design studios as I stared in the windows… missing the wildflowers back home. I worked at a high-end restaurant and each week I would visit with the event florist about her amazing creations and the industry. She was a design genius and I loved how she would walk the streets of New York with huge bundles of tropical flowers in her arms, wearing jeans and boots even in the city. I aspired to be her, without even knowing it at the time.
Eventually I moved to Texas and started dating my husband who preciously courted me with pre-made bouquets. Bless him. They weren’t cheap, but they were horrible — big bows, tired blooms, ‘80s-style to the core. I finally asked him to stop buying me bouquets and to instead bring me loose flowers I could arrange myself. My passion for flowers and design was re-ignited.
The first big event I undertook was my mother’s 60th birthday, followed by arranging the flowers for my own wedding. I learned a lot — especially how being a D.I.Y. bride is NOT for the faint of heart.
In September 2016, I officially launched the business and we haven’t looked back. By the grace of God, not only do I love my work, but I get to share in so many joyful experiences with such amazing clients.
